Context :
For several years, GRETh has been working to strengthen the thermohydraulic testing capabilities available to its members by identifying and building partnerships with organizations capable of meeting a wide variety of needs. Faced with the growing variety of demands (in terms of power, temperature ranges, fluids, and configurations), it is becoming essential to increase the number of technical partnerships. In this context, GRETh is offering its members a Thermohydraulic Testing Technical Day in collaboration with newcleo, its subsidiaries SRS and FUCINA, and its partners ENEA and Nuclear Valley.
This day is part of a dynamic of networking and promotion of large-scale thermal testing resources, in particular those of the ENEA Brasimone center (Italy).
Objective of the day :
- To showcase the thermohydraulic testing resources and skills/know-how that can be mobilized by newcleo, its subsidiaries SRS and FUCINA, and its Italian partner ENEA Brasimone.
- Demonstrate high power (>1 MW) and high temperature (>600°C) testing capabilities.
- To enable GRETh and Nuclear Valley members to identify new potential partners for their testing projects.
- Promote technical exchanges and synergies between industrial and scientific players.

Practical information :

- Language of the day: English, French when possible
Conditions of participation :
- Free event, no registration fees.
- Registration firm and definitive obligatory.
- Organisation and expenses of transport to/from Bologna, accommodation expenses : in charge of participants.
- Hotel in Bologna centre (like Hotel Mercure Bologna Centro) :
• Hotel reservation with breakfast for the night of October 8th: made by organisers,
• Accommodation expenses: directly paid by participants to the hotel at check-out. - Lunch on October 9th is included (buffet).
- Trip from hotel to ENEA Brasimone site, then from the site to Bologna (railway station & airport): by private coach made available by organisers.
- Participation exclusively reserved to members of GRETh or Nuclear Valley
Registration of GRETh members :
- Registration deadline : Friday, August 29th, 2025 at 12:00 p.m..
- Participation limited at 30 persons, with a limit of 2 persons per company.
Note : The goal is to favour participation of the largest number of companies. The organisers keep so the right to limit the participation (after the beginning of registrations and even after their closing) to only one person per company and to cancel the registrations of the second participant of a same company. In such case, the second participant whose registration is cancelled will be informed by e-mail. - Registrations will be made by arrival order; confirmation will be sent by e-mail.
- For any cancellation after September 18th (date to be confirmed at registration closing), the expenses already engaged for hotel accommodation will be re-invoiced to the participant having cancelled his participation.
