Pour permettre \u00e0 ces machines de devenir comp\u00e9titives par rapport aux syst\u00e8mes \u00e0 compression m\u00e9canique de vapeur, l\u2019am\u00e9lioration de leur efficacit\u00e9 et la baisse de leur co\u00fbt sont n\u00e9cessaires. C\u2019est dans ce contexte que s\u2019inscrit ce travail de th\u00e8se.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">L\u2019\u00e9tude se concentre sur l\u2019absorbeur qui est un des composants les plus critiques de la machine \u00e0 absorption en mati\u00e8re de taille, de co\u00fbt et d\u2019efficacit\u00e9. L\u2019objectif est d\u2019\u00e9tudier num\u00e9riquement et exp\u00e9rimentalement les transferts coupl\u00e9s de masse et de chaleur dans l\u2019absorbeur dans le but de pr\u00e9dire et d\u2019am\u00e9liorer ses performances. Deux absorbeurs \u00e0 film tombant sont \u00e9tudi\u00e9s, dans lesquels la solution pauvre et la vapeur entrent en haut et le fluide caloporteur entre en bas. Le premier est un \u00e9changeur \u00e0 plaques soud\u00e9es et le deuxi\u00e8me est un \u00e9changeur \u00e0 plaques et joints avec des dimensions et des profils de plaques diff\u00e9rents. L\u2019analyse exp\u00e9rimentale de ces deux absorbeurs est r\u00e9alis\u00e9e dans des conditions r\u00e9elles de fonctionnement sur un prototype instrument\u00e9 de machine \u00e0 absorption ammoniac-eau de 5 kW. Ce dispositif permet une analyse globale des d\u00e9bits de vapeur absorb\u00e9s, des flux thermiques \u00e9vacu\u00e9s et des efficacit\u00e9s d\u2019absorption. Une analyse plus locale est aussi r\u00e9alis\u00e9e \u00e0 l\u2019aide de mesures de temp\u00e9ratures \u00e0 l\u2019int\u00e9rieur des canaux de refroidissement dans l\u2019absorbeur plaques et joints. Les r\u00e9sultats montrent une importante corr\u00e9lation entre la puissance frigorifique produite par la machine \u00e0 absorption et les performances de l\u2019absorbeur. Mais ce prototype \u00e9tant une machine r\u00e9elle, les variables d\u2019entr\u00e9e de l\u2019absorbeur ne peuvent pas \u00eatre contr\u00f4l\u00e9es. Un mod\u00e8le num\u00e9rique est donc n\u00e9cessaire pour dissocier l\u2019impact des diff\u00e9rentes variables sur les performances de l\u2019absorbeur. Un mod\u00e8le 1D d\u2019un absorbeur \u00e0 film tombant est donc d\u00e9velopp\u00e9. Il est bas\u00e9 sur des bilans de masses, d\u2019esp\u00e8ces et d\u2019\u00e9nergies, des \u00e9quations de transferts de masse et de chaleur et des conditions d\u2019\u00e9quilibre \u00e0 l\u2019interface liquide-vapeur. Les r\u00e9sistances aux transferts de masse sont consid\u00e9r\u00e9es dans les phases liquide et vapeur et des corr\u00e9lations empiriques sont utilis\u00e9es pour calculer les coefficients de transfert de masse et de chaleur.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ce mod\u00e8le est valid\u00e9 exp\u00e9rimentalement avec les donn\u00e9es globales aux bornes des deux absorbeurs et avec les mesures de temp\u00e9ratures le long des canaux du fluide de refroidissement puisqu\u2019une diff\u00e9rence maximale de 15% est observ\u00e9e. Il permet donc l\u2019analyse d\u00e9taill\u00e9e des ph\u00e9nom\u00e8nes de transferts de masse et de chaleur le long de l\u2019absorbeur et facilite l\u2019\u00e9tude du proc\u00e9d\u00e9 d\u2019absorption.
