{"id":5227,"date":"2012-12-14T15:40:37","date_gmt":"2012-12-14T14:40:37","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/greth.fr\/?p=5227"},"modified":"2023-02-23T17:15:24","modified_gmt":"2023-02-23T16:15:24","slug":"thermal-and-visual-operationnal-characteristics-of-multi-microchannel-evaporators-using-refrigerants","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/greth.fr\/en\/thermal-and-visual-operationnal-characteristics-of-multi-microchannel-evaporators-using-refrigerants\/","title":{"rendered":"Thermal and Visual Operationnal Characteristics of multi-microchannel evaporators using refrigerants"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Summary :<\/span><\/strong><br \/>\nLa pr\u00e9sente \u00e9tude exp\u00e9rimentale concerne la stabilit\u00e9 des \u00e9coulements biphasiques des r\u00e9frig\u00e9rants R245fa, R236fa et R1234ze(E) dans des micro-canaux multiples de dimensions 100 x 100 &#956;m\u00b2 pour le refroidissement \u201cinter-couche\u201d des futurs processeurs 3D de hautes performances.<\/p>\n<p>Si aucune restriction n\u2019est plac\u00e9e \u00e0 l\u2019entr\u00e9e des micro-canaux composant les micro-\u00e9vaporateurs, des instabilit\u00e9s ainsi que des inversions de sens et des mauvaises distributions de l\u2019\u00e9coulement peuvent mener \u00e0 des oscillations \u00e0 haute fr\u00e9quence et de grande amplitude des champs de pression et temp\u00e9rature. De tels ph\u00e9nom\u00e8nes ont \u00e9t\u00e9 inhib\u00e9s en pla\u00e7ant des restrictions rectangulaires (micro-orifices) \u00e0 l\u2019entr\u00e9e de chaque canal.<\/p>\n<p>Ceci permet d\u2019assurer un \u00e9coulement biphasique stable pour une large gamme de conditions exp\u00e9rimentales. Les performances des micro-\u00e9vaporateurs sont \u00e9tudi\u00e9es en fonction du rapport d\u2019expansion dans les orifices et du type de fluide. La visualisation simultan\u00e9e par cam\u00e9ra rapide et par cam\u00e9ra infrarouge permet l\u2019identification de diff\u00e9rents r\u00e9gimes d\u2019op\u00e9ration et conduit \u00e0 la cr\u00e9ation de carte op\u00e9ratoire d\u2019\u00e9coulements biphasiques.<\/p>\n<p>Les conditions op\u00e9ratoires optimales ont \u00e9t\u00e9 obtenues pour un \u00e9coulement biphasique cr\u00e9\u00e9 par \u201cflashing\u201d (chute soudaine de pression) au niveau des micro-orifices. Ces conditions ont permis d\u2019\u00e9vacuer de larges flux de chaleur en conservant la temp\u00e9rature du pseudo-processeur en dessous de temp\u00e9rature typique d\u2019op\u00e9ration de CPU. Dans la pr\u00e9sente \u00e9tude, une nouvelle technique in-situ, pixel par pixel, a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9velopp\u00e9e pour calibrer les images infrarouges, permettant ainsi d\u2019obtenir un champ de temp\u00e9rature de 10\u2019000 pixels sur la section d\u2019essai. L\u2019analyse de ces champs de temp\u00e9rature support\u00e9e par la visualisation des \u00e9coulements confirme que le type d\u2019\u00e9coulement a une grande influence sur les coefficients de transfert thermique (d\u00e9termin\u00e9s en prenant en compte la conduction en 3 dimensions dans l\u2019\u00e9vaporateur).<\/p>\n<p>Les pertes de charge \u00e0 l\u2019entr\u00e9e et \u00e0 la sortie des canaux ont \u00e9t\u00e9 quantifi\u00e9es de fa\u00e7on \u00e0 d\u00e9crire pr\u00e9cis\u00e9ment les performances hydrauliques des micro-\u00e9vaporateurs et de fournir des donn\u00e9es de transferts thermiques fiables. Les coefficients de transfert thermiques ont donc \u00e9t\u00e9 obtenues avec une grande r\u00e9solution ce qui permet de d\u00e9crire au mieux la transition entre le r\u00e9gime de bulles coalescentes et le r\u00e9gime annulaire.<\/p>\n<p>Il est montr\u00e9 que le coefficient de transfert thermique ne change pas de fa\u00e7on abrupte lors de la transition mais plut\u00f4t de fa\u00e7on continue. La forme en U caract\u00e9ristique a \u00e9t\u00e9 observ\u00e9e, la partie descendante correspondant au r\u00e9gime de bulles coalescentes, tandis que la partie ascendante repr\u00e9sente le r\u00e9gime annulaire.
