En premier lieu, leur tr\u00e8s grande compacit\u00e9 (de l'ordre de 15 000 m2 m-3) permet une dissipation thermique qui peut atteindre quelques centaines de MW m-3 K-1. De faible masse et volume, ils pourront \u00eatre utilis\u00e9s dans tous les cas o\u00f9 les contraintes encombrement et masse sont fortes : domaine a\u00e9ronautique, spatial, automobile, etc. Du fait de la faible dimension des canaux, la quantit\u00e9 de fluide circulant est tr\u00e8s faible, ce qui les rend int\u00e9ressants lorsque ces fluides sont toxiques, n\u00e9fastes pour l'environnement ou tout simplement chers.<\/p>\n<p>Compte tenu du faible volume des micro\u00e9changeurs, il est possible de les r\u00e9aliser dans des mat\u00e9riaux nobles si des raisons de corrosion l'imposent.
