Habituellement ce type de cycle thermodynamique utilise un fluide pur comme fluide de travail ; ici notre travail a \u00e9galement port\u00e9 sur l\u2019utilisation d\u2019un m\u00e9lange de plusieurs fluides. En effet, un type sp\u00e9cifique de m\u00e9lange, les m\u00e9langes z\u00e9otropes, est pressenti pouvoir permettre un accroissement des performances des cycles ORC. Cependant, peu d\u2019\u00e9tudes exp\u00e9rimentales sur un cycle complet ont permis de confirmer cette tendance. Cette th\u00e8se a pour but d\u2019\u00e9tudier exp\u00e9rimentalement le comportement d\u2019une machine thermodynamique avec diff\u00e9rents fluides de travail (purs ou m\u00e9langes), et vise \u00e0 en optimiser les performances. Ces travaux s\u2019inscrivent \u00e9galement dans un contexte g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de renouvellement de fluides frigorig\u00e8nes, plus respectueux de l\u2019environnement, dans le but de remplacer les fluides actuellement utilis\u00e9s dans les machines thermodynamiques tels que les ORC. Le pr\u00e9sent document dresse en premier lieu une pr\u00e9sentation des cycles organiques de Rankine et de la sp\u00e9cificit\u00e9 apport\u00e9e par l\u2019utilisation des m\u00e9langes z\u00e9otropes au regard des questions \u00e9nerg\u00e9tiques et environnementales actuelles. Trois fluides purs, le Novec649, le HFE7000 et le HFE7100, ont \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9tudi\u00e9s, ainsi que des m\u00e9langes de Novec649 et de HFE7000 de diff\u00e9rentes proportions massiques. Tous ces fluides poss\u00e8dent un indice de destruction de la couche d\u2019ozone (ODP) nul et un faible indice de r\u00e9chauffement climatique (GWP) en comparaison des fluides classiquement utilis\u00e9s. Plusieurs campagnes exp\u00e9rimentales ont \u00e9t\u00e9 men\u00e9es sur un cycle ORC complet, permettant de valoriser une source de chaleur d\u2019une dizaine de kilowatts thermiques \u00e0 une temp\u00e9rature situ\u00e9e entre 100\u00b0C et 110\u00b0C sur une configuration classique d\u2019ORC, ainsi que sur une nouvelle architecture. Les essais ont \u00e9t\u00e9 analys\u00e9s \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9chelle du syst\u00e8me global et \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9chelle des composants, pr\u00e9chauffeur, \u00e9vaporateur, condenseur et turbine. Une nouvelle m\u00e9thode de mesure de la composition circulante des m\u00e9langes a \u00e9t\u00e9 con\u00e7ue, d\u00e9velopp\u00e9e et mise en pratique. Des mod\u00e8les physiques des composants, reposant sur une approche semi-empirique, ont \u00e9galement \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9labor\u00e9s et programm\u00e9s dans le logiciel EES coupl\u00e9 \u00e0 la base de propri\u00e9t\u00e9s thermodynamiques REFPROP. Ces mod\u00e8les (corr\u00e9lations d\u2019\u00e9change thermique diphasique, rendement isentropique, \u2026) sont applicables \u00e0 des fluides purs et des m\u00e9langes z\u00e9otropes de diff\u00e9rentes compositions et ont \u00e9t\u00e9 valid\u00e9s sur les mesures issues des campagnes exp\u00e9rimentales.
