Parmi les technologies prometteuses, le stockage de chaleur sensible mono-cuve est une alternative int\u00e9ressante aux technologies habituelles \u00e0 deux cuves. L\u2019utilisation d\u2019un milieu poreux granulaire, \u00e0 la place du milieu libre des stockages \u00e0 thermocline, permet de r\u00e9duire la quantit\u00e9 de fluide de stockage, souvent co\u00fbteux. Dans ce type de technologie, l\u2019influence de la distribution du fluide en entr\u00e9e et sortie du milieu poreux sur les performances est peu \u00e9tudi\u00e9e. L\u2019\u00e9tude bibliographique du sujet a montr\u00e9 que la plupart des \u00e9tudes exp\u00e9rimentales et num\u00e9riques de stockages thermiques dual-media sont monodimensionnelles ou consid\u00e8rent que la distribution du fluide est id\u00e9ale, c\u2019est-\u00e0-dire uniforme perpendiculairement \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9coulement g\u00e9n\u00e9ral. Toutefois, une \u00e9tude r\u00e9cente remet en cause cette hypoth\u00e8se, soulevant la question de l\u2019impact potentiel de la distribution de fluide pour une application industrielle. Par ailleurs, les milieux poreux \u00e9tudi\u00e9s sont en g\u00e9n\u00e9ral constitu\u00e9s de grains d\u2019une seule granulom\u00e9trie. Dans un premier temps, une campagne exp\u00e9rimentale est r\u00e9alis\u00e9e. Une installation exp\u00e9rimentale, utilisant un milieu poreux \u00e0 deux granulom\u00e9tries, est utilis\u00e9e pour effectuer des cycles de charges et de d\u00e9charges avec un suivi des grandeurs physiques caract\u00e9ristiques. Trois distributions de fluide sont disponibles pour l\u2019entr\u00e9e et la sortie du fluide \u00e0 haute temp\u00e9rature. Les donn\u00e9es r\u00e9colt\u00e9es donnent de premiers r\u00e9sultats sur l\u2019influence de la distribution de fluide sur ce type de stockage et oriente la suite de l\u2019\u00e9tude. L\u2019analyse des donn\u00e9es permet \u00e9galement d\u2019observer les imperfections de l\u2019installation et d\u2019en rechercher les causes et cons\u00e9quences. Dans un second temps, le fonctionnement du stockage thermique mono-cuve dual-media est \u00e9tudi\u00e9 num\u00e9riquement. Un mod\u00e8le num\u00e9rique multi-dimensionnel et tenant compte de la granulom\u00e9trie double est d\u00e9velopp\u00e9. Ce mod\u00e8le, d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 \u00e0 partir de l\u2019\u00e9tude de la litt\u00e9rature pertinente et en particulier des travaux r\u00e9alis\u00e9s pr\u00e9c\u00e9demment au Laboratoire de Stockage Thermique (LST) du CEA-LITEN, se base sur la r\u00e9solution des \u00e9quations classiques de la thermodynamique, appliqu\u00e9es \u00e0 un milieu poreux. Sa sp\u00e9cificit\u00e9 est de r\u00e9soudre une \u00e9quation de conservation de la chaleur pour le fluide et une pour chacune des deux phases solides granulaires. Le mod\u00e8le est valid\u00e9 par comparaison avec des r\u00e9sultats exp\u00e9rimentaux tir\u00e9s de la campagne r\u00e9alis\u00e9e. L\u2019accord obtenu entre les donn\u00e9es exp\u00e9rimentales et num\u00e9riques est jug\u00e9 acceptable. Le mod\u00e8le d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 est employ\u00e9 pour r\u00e9aliser une \u00e9tude th\u00e9orique de l\u2019influence de la distribution de fluide sur le comportement du stockage. Plusieurs tests de charge et de d\u00e9charge en conditions id\u00e9alis\u00e9s sont effectu\u00e9s sur un syst\u00e8me repr\u00e9sentant le milieu poreux de l\u2019installation exp\u00e9rimentale. Deux distributions de fluide sont compar\u00e9es, l\u2019une uniform\u00e9ment r\u00e9partie et l\u2019autre avec un fort jet axial et centr\u00e9. L\u2019influence de la convection naturelle et de l\u2019augmentation de vitesse du fluide li\u00e9e \u00e0 la distribution est \u00e9tudi\u00e9e en r\u00e9p\u00e9tant les m\u00eames tests apr\u00e8s avoir modifi\u00e9 les param\u00e8tres physiques du mod\u00e8le. Les essais relient ces ph\u00e9nom\u00e8nes physiques aux comportements observ\u00e9s. Dans un dernier temps, les r\u00e9sultats obtenus exp\u00e9rimentalement et num\u00e9riquement sont rassembl\u00e9s et interpr\u00e9t\u00e9s dans le cas d\u2019une \u00e9ventuelle application industrielle. Des recommandations sont apport\u00e9es pour le cas o\u00f9 l\u2019impact de la distribution de fluide mis en \u00e9vidence serait non-n\u00e9gligeable.
