Nous d\u00e9finissons le temps de transition (TT) comme un indicateur pour mesurer les performances dynamiques lorsque le HEN subit des variations op\u00e9rationnelles. La th\u00e8se vise \u00e0 r\u00e9soudre deux probl\u00e8mes : comment estimer le TT d'un HEN donn\u00e9 ; et comment r\u00e9aliser la conception pour optimiser le co\u00fbt du HEN, ce qui nous permet d'obtenir un compromis entre le co\u00fbt et le TT. En nous appuyant sur la transformation de Laplace, nous d\u00e9veloppons une formulation math\u00e9matique pour d\u00e9terminer TT, et cela conduit \u00e0 deux mod\u00e8les dynamiques. Le mod\u00e8le de base n\u00e9cessite le processus de transformation inverse de Laplace. Le deuxi\u00e8me mod\u00e8le, plus avanc\u00e9, est bas\u00e9 sur des d\u00e9veloppements purement analytiques afin d\u2019\u00e9viter la difficult\u00e9 num\u00e9rique de la transformation inverse de Laplace. Les m\u00e9thodes de synth\u00e8se suivent l'approche s\u00e9quentielle multi-p\u00e9riode pour it\u00e9rer diff\u00e9rentes structures, puis le TT peut \u00eatre calcul\u00e9 pour chaque HEN optimis\u00e9 en co\u00fbt. Nous proposons deux m\u00e9thodes d\u2019it\u00e9ration : BINLP pour le petit cas et IINLP pour les probl\u00e8mes de moyenne \u00e0 grande \u00e9chelle. Les m\u00e9thodes de synth\u00e8se et les mod\u00e8les dynamiques HEN ont \u00e9t\u00e9 appliqu\u00e9s avec succ\u00e8s dans cinq \u00e9tudes de cas \u00e0 travers diff\u00e9rents chapitres, et nous constatons que le TT varie \u00e9norm\u00e9ment selon les structures test\u00e9es.
