En effet l'encrassement est un ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne couteux qui provoque (directement ou indirectement via un surdimensionnement des installations) une augmentation des pertes \u00e9nerg\u00e9tiques, une hausse de la consommation d'eau. Par effet li\u00e9, l\u2019encrassement a un impact environnemental non n\u00e9gligeable d\u00fb principalement \u00e0 une augmentation de l\u2019\u00e9mission de dioxyde de carbone. La d\u00e9tection de l'encrassement peut se faire de mani\u00e8re tr\u00e8s ponctuelle en utilisant des capteurs sp\u00e9cifiques et co\u00fbteux ou, globalement, soit en mesurant la variation de masse de l\u2019\u00e9changeur, soit en \u00e9valuant l\u2019efficacit\u00e9 de l\u2019\u00e9changeur \u00e0 travers le coefficient de transfert \u2013 ces deux derni\u00e8res m\u00e9thodes exigeant des conditions de fonctionnement tr\u00e8s particuli\u00e8res : l\u2019arr\u00eat pour la premi\u00e8re et un fonctionnement en r\u00e9gime permanent pour la seconde.<\/p>\n<p>Les travaux pr\u00e9sent\u00e9s dans cette th\u00e8se consistent au d\u00e9veloppement d\u2019observateurs non lin\u00e9aires qui permettent de d\u00e9tecter l'encrassement suffisamment t\u00f4t pour mettre en place un syst\u00e8me d'entretien efficace. Pour cela, un mod\u00e8le de dimension finie d\u2019un \u00e9changeur tubulaire \u00e0 contre courant a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9fini en d\u00e9but de th\u00e8se. Trois solutions bas\u00e9es sur le d\u00e9veloppement d'observateurs non lin\u00e9aires de type Takagi-Sugeno appliqu\u00e9s au probl\u00e8me de d\u00e9tection d'encrassement dans les \u00e9changeurs thermiques sont propos\u00e9es. La premi\u00e8re consiste en une batterie d'observateurs qui estime les param\u00e8tres d'encrassement par une m\u00e9thode d'interpolation. La deuxi\u00e8me propose un observateur polynomial de type Takagi-Sugeno en utilisant la th\u00e9orie des sommes de carr\u00e9s. Enfin, un observateur de type Takagi-Sugeno \u00e0 entr\u00e9es inconnues est d\u00e9velopp\u00e9.
